S992 is a neutral cure transparent silicone sealant designed for general-purpose sealing and bonding applications. It cures by absorbing moisture from the air to form a flexible, durable elastomer with excellent adhesion.

This sealant offers strong bonding performance on a wide range of substrates including glass, ceramics, stainless steel and aluminum alloy, making it one of the most widely used universal silicone sealants for both indoor and outdoor applications.

With outstanding weather resistance, UV stability and long-lasting elasticity, S992 is suitable for decoration, glazing and general construction sealing needs.

Application Instructions

Ensure surfaces are clean, dry and free from oil, dust or contaminants before application.

For neat and even sealant lines, apply masking tape to adjacent areas and remove before skin formation.

Not suitable for copper substrates due to potential corrosion.

Important Notes

Due to variations in substrates and application conditions, on-site adhesion testing is recommended prior to use.

Contact with certain rubbers or plastics may cause discoloration (black spots or yellowing) due to additive migration. Testing is advised when used with such materials.

Not recommended for continuous water immersion or permanently damp underground environments.
