Specifications
MS3930 is a high-performance, single-component silyl-modified polymer (SMP) sealant designed for durable sealing and bonding in industrial and automotive applications. Solvent-free, isocyanate-free, PVC-free, and silicone-free, it offers excellent UV resistance, high and low-temperature tolerance, and compatibility with most paints and coatings. MS3930 is ideal for applications requiring high movement capability.

Compatible Substrates
- Metalssteel, iron, copper, aluminum, stainless steel
- Treated metalsgalvanized, anodized, painted
- Wood, ceramics, concrete, and other inorganic substrates
- PlasticsPVC, PC, ABS (PP and other polyolefins require surface treatment)
Note: Some substrates may cause stress cracking. Pre-test recommended for uncertain materials.
Surface Preparation
Ensure substrate surfaces are free of dust, rust, oils or other contaminants. Mechanical (sanding) or chemical (isopropanol or alcohol) cleaning methods are recommended. Conduct adhesion testing on coated or uncertain substrates.
Primer Recommendation
- P50 Non-porous substrates
- P60 Porous substrates
- P70 Difficult-to-bond polyolefins
Note: Most substrates do not require a primer unless exposed to high humidity or frequent immersion.
Paint Compatibility
Compatible with most paints and coatings. For optimal adhesion, paint within 60 minutes after surface drying. Pre-testing is recommended due to variations in commercial paints. Alkyd-based coatings may slow curing.
