S168 is a high-performance, single-component silicone sealant that cures upon exposure to moisture. With excellent weather resistance, it is ideal for general-purpose elastic sealing in industrial and commercial construction applications.

Typical Applications:

• Weatherproof sealing for exterior walls, roofs and windows.
• Secondary sealing for outdoor water tanks, reservoirs and tanks.

Application Instructions:

• Remove all grease, dust, rust and moisture from the joint.
• Choose appropriate backer rod or filler material according to joint design.
• For a smooth, clean finish, apply masking tape along joint edges and remove it before the sealant skins over.

Usage Notes:

• Always test adhesion on the substrate in the actual environment before large-scale application.
• Extreme conditions such as high temperature, high humidity, high pH/acid, long-term immersion in oil or water require pre-testing.
• Avoid application below 5°C or above 50°C surface temperature.
• Not recommended on surfaces that may exude oils, plasticizers or solvents. Avoid bare copper surfaces to prevent discoloration or corrosion.
